i will neber forgive you all because a couple months ago i posted a picture of my bong coaster that is sonic the hemphog smoking weed and it got zero notes
three older motorcyclists pulled up behind my car when i was at a stoplight and they were just. investigating. so shocked and confused. grappling with the punchline, struggling, grasping for some semblance of understanding, only to find none. i love gen z humor dumbfounding old men.
An unknown person reacts in text messages, saying, “bruh, imagine being blind and the bus driver is like, ‘you can’t come on, guide dogs aren’t black.’ And you’re just there like, ‘what the fuck is black?’“
End of description.
Note: The person who said this shit wasn’t the driver, but rather, another passenger, who insisted that the only real service dogs are yellow labs. This woman harassed Megan Taylor for the entire duration of her bus ride, and is apparently not the first person to pull shit like that to Megan.
Which doesn’t surprise me at all. My own service dog has been subject to the exact same, bizarre claim, as a black poodle rather than a yellow lab or golden retriever.
I don’t know why people have become fixated on service dogs as being yellow, but that’s not how any of this works.
are we racist to dogs now????
Same thing happens to me. My service animal is a cat who lets me know when I’m about to have one of my chronic migraines so that I can take my medications. Ive fallen down staircases before because I get extremely disoriented when my migraines hit. After I told my doctor this they recommended a service animal. I can’t afford a dog so instead we trained my cat on what she should do. She takes her job very seriously but other people do not. When I tell other people about her, they generally laugh at me and tell me that cats can’t be service animals. Because of this I am to anxious to take her to certain public locations. There are some situations where I didn’t know that a migraine was about to happen and I’ve been all by myself and when they strike its too late to take the medication because it takes a while to kick in. Moral of the story, never ever be rude towards someone because their service animal is different then what you think a service animal should be.
